Mission
The mission of the Family Access Center is to support individuals in overcoming life’s challenges through empowerment as we embrace preserving, restoring, and strengthening through quality services.
What is Family Access Center
Family Access Center’s team is made up of child welfare case workers, addiction therapists, mental health therapists, and administrative support. FAC offers the community a variety of services. They are dedicated to preserving, restoring, and strengthening individuals, families, and the community.
My Internship
- Shadowed group and individual substance use disorder therapy sessions
- Facilitate and lead my own SUD group
- Facilitate and lead my own individual SUD counseling session.
- Take part in Family Therapy Court
- Collaborate with other professionals to offer the best treatment plan for clients.
- Update agency progress report regularly
- Partake in ASAM/PCSS/SAMHSA trainings
